The bottom line is that in VHF, both antennas perform very well, with SWR close to 1: 1.
In UHF, SWR it reaches 4:1 or more, so the performance is very poor. This is a little unexpected, but now that I know, it means I will be replacing the UV-5 antenna with a bigger and better one.
